Venues to visit

 Sorrba (Sarjapur Outer Ring Road Bengali Association) will celebrate Durga Puja from October 19 to 24. National award winning Bengali singers Rupam Islam and Rupankar will be performing during the six-day festivities. The programme will be inaugurated on October 19 evening by the Commissioner of Police, (Bangalore City) B G Jyothi Prakash Mirji. 

R T Nagar Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti will be celebrating its sixth successful year. This year’s celebrations will have performance by playback singer Haimanti Shukla from Kolkata on October 21 followed by live-in-concert with ‘Chandrabindoo’, a rock band from Bengal on October 23.   

Mridul Bhattacharjee, a comedy artist, will be performing on October 22. The venue is Patels-Inn, R T Nagar (next to White House apartment). Sarathi Socio Cultural trust will hold its tenth year celebration of Durga Puja at Mangala Kalyan Mantapa, 8th Block 80-ft Road, opposite Ganesha Temple, Koramangala.

Dr Hansraj Bhardwaj, the Governor of Karnataka will inaugurate the festival on October 22. Kanakapura Road Bengali Association (KARBA) will celebrate Durga Puja from
October 20 to October 24. It will be held at the BBMP playground opposite the
HM Tambourine apartments, opposite Jarganahalli Bus Stop on Kanakapura Main road, J P Nagar Sixth Phase. 

Jayamahal Sarbojonin Durgoutsav will celebrate Durga Puja from October 20 to 25 at the Jayamahal Ladies’ Club Ground. Siddharth Sanskritik Parishad is hosting Dasara till October 24 at R T Nagar, opposite Bihar Bhavan at Vinyaka Cultural Centre.

Prabaasee Association is celebrating Durga Puja from October 20 to 24, at Canara Bank Hall, 13th, 8th Main, Malleswaram.

Oriya Association is organising Durga Puja at Shri Jagannath Temple at Agara, beside Mantri Elegant leading to Silkboard Bus Stand from October 20 to 24.

Socio Cultural Club Association, Indiranagar is organising Durga Puja and Dasara festival at the Defence Colony Ground, 6th Main, Indiranagar from October 20 to 24.
  The Bengali Association is hosting Durga Puja at RBANMS Grounds, Ulsoor, opposite Ajantha Theatre, near Commercial Street from October 20 to October 24.
