Law college to celebrate 25 yrs

»The silver jubilee function of the University Law College, Bangalore University, will be organised at the Jnanajyothi Auditorium on the Central College campus on October 20, reports DHNS.

The University Law College was among the first institutions to start the five-year LLB course, which, over the years, has been emulated by many law institutions, including national law colleges.

The college campus was shifted from its old premises at Mysore Bank Circle to Jnana Bharathi a few years ago.

Former Chief Justice of India Justice M N Venkatachalaiah, Chief Justice of Odisha High Court Justice Gopala Gowda, former Dean and Principal of University Law College Prof V B Coutinho, Bangalore University acting Vice-chancellor Rangaswamy, Registrar B C Mylarappa and others will be present at the function.
