Co-operation Minister B J Puttaswamy on Friday said he would resign as the Cabinet minister and join the new political outfit which former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has proposed to launch.
“I will not stick to power. I am ready to resign and go with him (Yeddyurappa), if necessary,” he told reporters.
To a question on when the new party would be launched, he gave an evasive reply: “Nothing has been finalised yet.”
On Yeddyurappa threats to topple the Jagadish Shettar government, he said he will never dislodge the government. “Yeddyurappa is our leader. He can always advise us,” he added.
