The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) agreed on Sunday to the Centre’s proposal to hold month-long winter session of Parliament from November 21 to December 21.
"We are agreeing with the first proposal that the winter session should be held from 21st November to 21st December as is normally held," said Sushma Swaraj, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, in a press statement released here. She said the government had suggested a couple of dates for holding the session and the main Opposition party had agreed to the above mentioned dates after a discussion among senior BJP and NDA leaders.
