<p>A day after Delhi Lokayukta raised objection and issued notices to chief minister Sheila Dikshit and her PWD minister Rajkumar Chauhan for having their photos affixed on the loan forms meant for SC, ST, OBC and minority category, the BJP on Saturday demanded their resignations on moral grounds. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The opposition party also sought payment of money spent by the public works department in getting their photos printed from their own pockets.<br /><br />Free of cost forms<br /><br />“Sheila Dikshit and Rajkumar Chauhan should resign on moral grounds immediately. Government should provide free of cost forms to the needy persons without photos of anybody affixed on them,” said city BJP president Vijender Gupta. <br /><br />“They should also compensate for the printing expenditure done on their photos because this is a wastage of public money,” he said.<br /><br />Lokayukta issued notices<br /><br />Lokayukta Justice Manmohan Sarin on Friday issued notices to two leaders asking why probe should not be held against them for publication of their photographs on the loan application forms. <br /><br />Asking Dikshit and Chauhan to reply to the notices by December 10, Justice Sarin also ordered the Delhi government to stop printing the forms further.<br /><br />Lokayukta acted on the complaint filed last month by BJP leader Harsh Vardhan who had objected to the publication of photographs on the loan form, saying it was aimed at getting “undue political gain” from the intended beneficiaries.</p>
