Consensus must for Telangana: Shinde

Maintaining that consensus needs to be achieved among all parties concerned, Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde indicated that the Centre is in no hurry to push the Telangana issue to the forefront.

The home minister, who visited the National Police Academy (NPA) here to participate in the dikshant parade of the 64th  batch of IPS probationers, told reporters that he was not aware of any letter by TDP president Chandrababu Naidu on Telangana issue to the Prime Minister.

“Any leader can (make) suggestions in this regard. There is nothing wrong. If some good suggestions are coming. We will welcome them,” Shinde said.
