'It will be tough for Siddaramaiah'

Last Updated 11 November 2012, 17:19 IST

From Siddaramaiah to Ramdas, H S Shankarlinge Gowda to all others who have been training their guns on Yeddyurappa will one or the other way pay for their faux pas in the coming days, said KJP State president and former MP V Dhananjay Kumar.’

Kumar who was addressing the party workers at Varuna assembly constituency, the home turf of opposition leader Siddaramaiah, said the coming elections will not be easy for him (Siddaramaiah) with Yeddyurappa’s personal assistant Ka Pu Siddalinga Swamy emerging as a formidable force.

When a leader on the dais said that, Siddaramaiah has been looking at returning to his once fiefdom Chamundeshwari constituency to contest the next assembly polls, Kumar likened it to that of Eshwarappa’s plans to scout for another.

Referring to media reports, where Ramdas in his comment on KJP had said- the evil forces will be wiped out with the onset of Naraka Chaturdashi, Kumar said he is aware of the tactics played by Ramdas just to decorate the seat of district in-charge minister. On Chamaraja MLA H S Shankarlinge Gowda who has already announced his decision to go with Janata Dal (Secular), Kumar said “I pity him. He is known for babbling.”

Change is here

He was happy to note that Mysore known as ‘sleepy town’ and ‘pensioner’s paradise’ is slowly gearing up for the change. ‘There is an electrifying atmosphere in the city with the onset of KJP,’ said Kumar.

He exuded confidence that the city will help make inroads into other parties, citing the example of BJP in its nascent days.

Advocate H Gangadharan was among the very few candidates from the party who had been elected to the assembly from Krishnaraja  constituency.
