The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), in a bid to take strict action against building by-law violations, has demolished a house in Ward no 66, 5th Main, BTM Layout.
The house belonging to Arifullah Habib was under construction with two completed floors and the third being built. The house had a 68 percent violation and the matter had been lying in the court for sometime. The court, in its ruling had accepted that there was a violation and had directed the owner to vacate the building.
