JOIN USFormer minister and an accused in KIADB land scam, Katta Subramanya Naidu, sustained minor injuries in a road accident on Bellary-Bangalore Road Friday evening.
He was immediately rushed to nearby Columbia Asia Hospital and treated as outpatient, said the police.
The accident occurred near Vidyashilpa School close to Yelahanka junction around 5.15 pm when Katta was on his way to RT Nagar from the airport in his SUV.
There were four persons, the driver, Katta, his friend and a gunman in the vehicle.
The driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a turn and it turned upside down. Soon, a few passersby rescued Katta and others.
Katta had sustained injuries on his left hand little finger.
The police immediately took him to the hospital.
