Two school students arrested for killing classmate

Two class IX students were arrested here for allegedly killing their classmate, police said today.

A case of murder was registered against the two for allegedly killing 16-year-old Suraj, who went missing on November 14 after he left his home for tuitions, police said.

The two have confessed that they killed Suraj and threw his body into a canal, police said, adding, the victim's body was still not found.

After Suraj went missing, his relatives reported the matter to police, they said.

A case of missing person was registered on November 18, and later, a case of abduction was registered on November 24, they said.

On a suspicion, police arrested his two classmates, who confessed to the crime during interrogation, they said.

The matter is being probed, they said.
