<p> A class 12 student of a government school was found hanging at her house in south-west Delhi’s Sagarpur. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide, but no note was found.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Kiran, 17, lived with her parents, but they had gone to attend a wedding function in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh district.<br /><br />According to police, the incident came to light when a neighbour found her hanging from a ceiling fan on Friday.<br /><br />“The exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained. Prima facie, it appears that the victim committed suicide,” a senior police officer said.<br /><br />Kiran studied at a government school in Janakpuri B-Block, officer added. <br />Locals immediately took Kiran to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.<br /><br />A call was also made to the police control room after which a crime team inspected the room.<br /><br />Police did not find any suicide note, but have ruled out any foul play.<br /><br />The officer also said the incident is being investigated under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.<br /><br />The victim’s body was handed over to family after a post-mortem on Saturday.<br /></p>
