However, no casualties were reported.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The five-storey building is being constructed inside the Cessna Business Embassy. <br />The incident took place at around 8:30 am, when the fourth floor caved in due to the faulty centring, triggering the collapse of a part of the building, an eye witness recounted.<br /><br />Fire Department officials said that they got a call at around 8:45 am and rushed two fire rescuers to the spot from the Sarjapur Fire Station. B K Hampagol, Technical Director, Fire and Emergency Services, told Deccan Herald that the building was built on faulty and low quality centring, leading to the collapse.<br /><br />Early morning<br /><br />As the accident occurred early in the morning, there were no workers in the building, thus averting a major tragedy, Hampagol said.<br /><br />He said that the fire men thoroughly searched through the debris for anyone trapped inside, but found none.<br /><br />The HAL police have registered a case of negligence. The building owners, however, were not available for comments.</p>
