<p>Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar on Monday directed heads of all departments to cancel appointments of chairpersons of all boards and corporations coming under their purview.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Following the chief minister’s direction, N B Abbubakar, chairperson of Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation; Ganesh Karnik, vice chairperson of Non-Resident Indian Committee; M Rudresh, chairperson of Kanteerava Studios Limited were removed from their posts.<br /><br />The recent BJP core committee meeting decided to drop all the existing chairpersons and make fresh appointments.<br /></p>
