<p>The wife and brother-in-law of an ayurvedic doctor have been arrested along with two contract killers for attempting to murder him, police said. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Reena Vishwash, 28, a resident of Paschim Vihar and her brother Promit Roy, 31 a resident of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh, were arrested with contract killers Farhat Khan, 32 and Rizwan, 25, both of Sambhal for attempt to murder of a doctor, said Additional Commissioner of Police (central) Devesh Chandra Srivastva.<br /><br />Police said that on December 11, they received a call at police control room from Deshbandhu Gupta Road area regarding an incident of firing. <br /><br />“A police team rushed to the spot. Gopal Kar compounder in the clinic of Piyush Vishwas told police that when they were at clinic two people entered and shot Vishwas who sustained an injury on his neck,” said Srivastva.<br /><br />During investigation, police found that Vishwas and his wife Reena were in a strained relationship.<br /><br />Investigators found that she was in touch with some people from Sambhal district.<br /><br />On the basis of evidences, Farhat Khan was apprehended, who during interrogation, told police he was hired by Promit Roy to kill Vishwas for Rs 2.5 lakhs.<br /><br />Farhat Khan along with his three accomplices including Rizwan reached Vishwas’ clinic and shot him with the intention to kill and thereafter fled. Rizwan was arrested at Farhat Khan’s instance.<br /><br />Later, Reena and her brother Promit Roy were apprehended. Reena told police that she was in a relationship with someone else and wanted to marry him but her husband objected to it and beat her several times. <br /><br />Tired of this, she hatched a conspiracy with her brother. Two of Farhat’s accomplices involved in the crime are still at large. A hunt is on ti arrest them, said Srivastva.<br /></p>
