Kids' date with SpongeBob

Nick, in association with My Baby Excels, has launched an exciting range of SpongeBob Square Pants plush toys. And at the launch event held in the City, one saw the appearance of SpongeBob Square Pants, Squire SpongeBob, Grown-up SpongeBob, SpongeBob with Gary, Swim Trunks SpongeBob and CowBob Ranch Pants, who sent kids reeling in excitement.

The kids were seen waving an orange Nick flag even as a life-size SpongeBob Square Pants appeared on the stage, along with MTV VJ Deepti Gujral, who is also a huge fan. The kids had the time of their lives playing cool games like pinning a tie on SpongeBob and shaking a leg with SpongeBob Square Pants.

Deepti then unveiled the SpongeBob Square Pants collection. Many kids were screaming and jumping around, thrilled and ecstatic to meet the most popular and adorable Nicktoon — the SpongeBob Square Pants. Kids took home Nick goodies and also got a chance to avail special offers on SpongeBob Square Pants plush toys. The kids wore yellow clothes and some had hung charts, which had SpongeBob’s dialogues written all over, on their back.

Akanksha, an LKG student, says, “I love SpongeBob a lot, I watch him on TV everyday. I am happy to see him right in front of me today.” The crowd comprised not just children who loved SpongeBob but adults who were his fans as well.
