From the alleys of Cooke’s Town in Bangalore to the swinging set of Bollywood. Dino Morea has sure had a meteoric rise. The handsome hunk commands meaty roles and in the film Acid Factory, released on October 9, he has even styled himself. He may have dated the most beautiful women and bagged the best of roles but he still holds vivid memories of Bangalore and gets nostalgic at the mention of the place.

“I love the City and come here as often as I can. Old Bangalore is close to my heart,” he says. For Acid Factory, he had grown a long mane, sports a French cut and donned a cap. “I have experimented a lot with my looks. People told me that I looked like Johnny Depp. It was an attempt to look, feel different and stand out,” he told Metrolife.

And now he’s back to a short hair. “Well, I am ready for my next movie and had to cut off all that long hair,” he says. He says he plays a kamina  in Acid Factory. Most characters, in the movie, are trapped in an acid factory.

“They have all lost their memories. And this is where all the action begins. Now, I wouldn’t like to reveal more about my character. It’s different and truly interesting,” he avers and adds, “I am supposed to play the rough and tough guy and I guess my makeover goes well with my character."

Dino believes in taking risks, big or small. He thinks only experiments will lead to progress and help one grow as an actor. “It prepares and takes you to the next level,” he informs.
While signing up for one film after another, Dino has also readied a script for his first home production: The Clock House. “The script is ready and in its finalising phase. This will be my first big home production,” he confides. Apart from acting he helps his brother run Crepe Town, a chain of restaurants in Mumbai and has recently opened Elbow, a bar in the megapolis.
