Zing Thing

Harmony, a group of entertainment professionals, sports personalities and businessmen in the City, who have been raising funds for children-based charities for over a decade, also get together and party with their family and friends a couple of times in the year, especially during major festivals.

This time, it was a combination of the birthday celebration of a member and Diwali, that had the group of members and their families getting together for an evening of fellowship and entertainment. To get the crowd going, a lithe and lissome dancer named Victoria from East Europe was the special entertainer for the evening.

Showing off a range of costumes and props that neatly tied in with her act, she shimmied and shook across the dance floor. Many of the guests were inspired to get on to the floor with her as she used swords, lit ‘diyas neatly balanced on her head and a couple of other props to add some more zing to her act. The dancing was a great hit and set the tone for the rest of the evening which was followed by some wining, dining and good-humoured festive spirit.
