HDFC Q2 net up 24 pc to Rs 664 crore

The mortgage major’s total income has increased from Rs 2620.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 2850.23 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.
During the quarter under review, it has made simultaneous issue of zero percent secured redeemable NCDs aggregating to Rs 4,000 crore and 109,53,706 warrants at a warrant issue price of Rs 275 each aggrating to Rs 301.23 crore.

Further, HDFC’s approvals during the six months ended September 30, 2009 aggregated to Rs 28,418 crore as compared to Rs 24,180 crore during the corresponding period in the previous year, representing a rise of 18 per cent. 

Similarly, disbursements during this period amounted to Rs 22,342 crore as compared to Rs 17,788 crore during the corresponding period in the previous year, a surge of 26 per cent.
