A second year PU student committed suicide by immolating herself at a classroom in her college here on Sunday evening.
After attending the CET coaching classes at the college, Priyanka Khatavate (18) doused herself with petrol and set herself on fire. She died before the medical aid arrived, College’s working president Aravind Deshpande said. What prompted Priyanaka to take the extreme step is still not clear.
