<p>The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has bagged an award instituted by Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (Astru) for its performance in three categories - highest tyre performance, maximum improvement in tyre performance and minimum operational cost at City service during the year 2010-11.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The award was presented recently in New Delhi.
