<p>Actor Arshad Warsi decided to choose Vishal Bharadwaj's much-awaited 'Dedh Ishqiya' over Raj Kumar Hirani's 'Peekay' following date issues.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Hirani was keen on signing Arshad for 'Peekay' after the success of the 'Munnabhai' series, but the actor could not accomodate the film in his schedule.<br /><br />"Rajkumar Hirani wanted me to do 'Peekay'. Unfortunately, the dates of 'Dedh Ishqiya' and 'Peekay' were clashing. And I had to choose one project. So I decided to go with 'Dedh Ishqiya'," Arshad told reporters here last night at an event.<br /><br />'Peekay' stars Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles.<br />The 44-year-old actor is now looking forward to the release of his upcoming comedy flick 'Jolly LLB'.<br /><br />When asked why he chooses to do more of comedy films, Arshad says, "I think there is a lot of pain every where around and laughter is the best medicine. I want people to have fun, laugh out. Out of ten movies that I am offered eight are comedies but still in that zone I choose to do something different.""<br /><br />Directed by Subhash Kapoor of 'Phas Gaya Re Obama' fame, 'Jolly LLB' will see Arshad and Boman Irani playing the role of lawyers who are pitted against each other for a case.<br /><br />The film also stars Amrita Rao as Arshad's love interest.</p>
