Poor road: Residents stage protest

Later, they also staged a protest in front of the house of ward member Ashrafunnisa.
The pathetic condition of the  road made the residents of the ward protest and demand for their rights.

However, CMC has been neglecting the extension by not repairing the road for the last several years.

In the name of development, poor quality of work is being undertaken.  The protestors said inpsite of submitting memorandum to the officials concerned and CMC member, no action has been taken so far to repair the road.

CMC Assistant Engineer visited the spot. However, the residents sent him back. They warned of intensifying the protest, if the authorities fail to repair the road within 15 days.
Rajeshwari Yuvaka Sangha, Cauvery Auto Drivers Association, Jaya Karnataka and locals took part in the protest.
