<p>Air Marshal Rajinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, IAF Training Command Headquarters in Bangalore is being awarded the ‘Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM)’.<br /><br />On the occasion of Republic Day, award is being presented for his distinguished and meritorious service. </p>.<p>Singh was commissioned in the Flying branch on December 14, 1974 and is a qualified flying instructor who has clocked a total of over 3,100 hours on the Hawker Hunter, the Marut, the Kiran and all variants of MiG combat aircraft, in a career spanning four decades.<br /><br />He has also commanded a frontline fighter squadron besides holding prestigious appointments as Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Palam, and as Defence Attache at Embassy of India, Egypt.</p>
