Incoming calls while on Roaming on Aircel network will be free.<br />The Union Cabinet last year approved the National Telecom Policy which spoke of abolishing roaming charges. <br /><br />However, operators have been against the proposal saying it would affect their revenues as nearly 10 per cent of their revenues come from roaming charges. <br /><br />With Aircel lauching such initiatives, others might follow suit. However, a Vodafone spokesperson when contacted declined to comment if they would announce something similar.<br /></p>
