JOIN USSantanu Pal, father of Souvik, said his family will wait till the investigations get over. “Investigations are not yet completed. It will take some time for police to come to a conclusion. We will decide on the next course of action only after that,” he said.
Questioned whether he was facing any problem from the British government or government back home regarding investigations, Santanu said he has faced no such problems.
“I have no issues from my side as of now. We don’t have the complete picture. Police are on their job. So there is no point in commenting till we get the investigation results,” he said.
On whether he would go back to the UK for assisting investigations, he said if needed he would.
“I have no plans to shift my family outside Bangalore or out of the State. We have not yet decided on it,” he said.
The Pals, who hail from Midnapore in West Bengal, have been living in Bangalore since 2002 when Shantanu came to join Swedish major ABB India, energy firm as an engineer.
