Brahmavar lacks good bus stand

The bus stand comes under Varamballi Gram Panchayat limits. More than 200 private buses come to this bus stand and passengers travel daily to Kundapur, Barkur, Pethri, Hebri and other places from this bus stand.

Passengers have to wait for nearly an hour if they miss a bus to rural areas. However, owing to the lack of seating arrangements, women with kids are forced to stand and wait for the bus.

There were three bus stands in the vicinity. However, one was pulled down by the Gram Panchayat owing to its dilapidated condition. Now the work on a commercial complex is being taken up at the venue. Passengers who are bound to Pethri, Neelavara, Hebri from Brahmavar are using a tiny shelter in the vicinity. However, sometimes, the shelter is being encroached by the shop keepers to keep their materials.

None of them have given their attention towards providing seating arrangement at the bus stand so far.
