<p><br />A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her landlord in south Delhi’s Pul Prahladpur, police said on Wednesday. The accused is absconding.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Landlord Ravinder on the pretext of giving the victim, who lives with her parents at Vishkarma colony in Pul Prahladpur, a lift to a nearby market forcibly drove her to Faridabad on Sunday.<br /><br />Ravinder also has a house in Faridabad and runs a small brick crusher’s unit. He confined her at his house and raped her all night.<br /><br />On Monday, he threatened her of dire consequences and drove her back home. But she narrated the ordeal to her mother, who works as a maid.<br /><br />When the victim’s father returned home after work, he took his daughter to police and registered a complaint.<br /><br />A medical examination confirmed sexual assault. A case was then registered and a hunt is on to nab Ravinder who is absconding.<br /><br />Police have roped in a non-government organisation to counsel the victim.<br />“We are conducting raids are all Ravinder’s possible hideouts and have also sent teams to various places in the city as well as Haryana to trace him,” said a police officer.<br /></p>
