<p>Singh told presspersons here that Raja, hailing from Mangalore, was involved in nearly 100 cases in Karnataka and Maharashtra, including at least 10 murders and a number of extortion cases. Raja had fled to the Middle East more than five years ago after police mounted a search to nab him. He was arrested in the first week of this month when he was trying to fly out of Dubai on a fake passport. The DGP said the State police were confident of bringing the don back to the state for their investigation. <br /><br />“Once the Dubai authorities complete investigation,we will be able to get him deported. We have taken the help of Interpol, seeking issue of a Red Corner alert against the don,” he added.</p>
