For a smooth skin

After more than an hour of waiting, the diva finally arrived to promote a moisturiser brand. Along with the actress was dermatologist Dr Rashmi Shetty, who had come down to endorse the brand in the City. As Shreya stepped in, dressed in pastel pink mini dress, showing off her perfect skin and toned figure, the crowd materialised at a lightening speed.
The forum was thrown open for the audience to ask questions relating to skin care, answering which they won gift hampers. “I think it’s really important to feel comfortable in one’s own skin,’’ said Shreya, in a typical beauty pageant answer style. “Each one of us is beautiful, and it’s important for all of us to realise that,’’ she confirmed. On questions regarding cosmetic surgery, and enhancements, the actress swore that she’d never go under the surgical incision. “I have been blessed with good genes, thanks to my parents, and am really scared of such procedures,” she said delicately.
Shreya also shared with the crowd her skin care regime. “I make sure I drink lots of water, and exercise regularly, that helps to flush out all the toxins. Apart from that I choose my skin care products carefully. Getting the basics right is the secret of my healthy skin.”
While the actress upped the glamour quotient, it was Dr Rashmi Shetty, who
gave out useful information on skin care. “Indian woman mostly give all their attention to their face, and neglect the rest of the body, this leads to uneven skin tone, with a great deal of difference between the shades of hands and face. So it’s important to care for skin in other areas equally.”
And almost as if on cue, it started to drizzle, and in an instant, Shreya, escorted by a dozen bouncers vanished, leaving the crowd baffled by her fly by visit.
