<p>Newly-appointed state school education minister C M Chang of the Naga People's Front-led Democratic Alliance of Nagaland has resigned from his post, officials said today.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Chang, elected from Noksen constituency in the February 23 Assembly election, had submitted his resignation on March 14, state Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo said.<br /><br />Chang resigned in order to avoid a Lok Sabha by-election, Sazo said, adding that Chang's resignation has been accepted.<br /><br />He was the lone MP from Nagaland.</p>
