This one is for jewellery lovers!

Friends and business partners Dipali Sarin and Sunayana Chibba gave Delhi shoppers a delightful experience with  ‘My Best Friend and Me’, an exhibition of exquisite jewellery and accessories.

The two-day show, hosted at the Lalit Ashok last week, had  contemporary jewellery, handbags, shoes and more. Cocktail earrings, statement neck pieces, elaborate cuffs, handbags, shoes, clutch purses, belts and brooches were on offer. Brand-conscious folks were happy to spot Aquamarine, Malaga, Kkomo, Kan and every other chic name under one roof.

Enthused by the response to the exhibition, Dipali told Metrolife: “There’s a huge demand for exclusive fashion accessories. The fact that we had many brands under one roof also helped.”

The trendy assortment catered to varied tastes and moods and featured vintage classic jewellery, funky colourful pieces and flamboyant and contemporary Indian and western styles. There was also a fine line of imitation jewellery on display. The demand for such jewellery is rising with destination weddings becoming popular and people looking for exquisite stuff.

A trendy line of affordable costume jewellery for teenagers was also worth checking out. Other highlights were the extensive collection of bags, shoes and belts.

The exhibition exhibited variety of styles and brands, all under one roof there by giving the customer an array of brands to choose from. It was a niche and an innovative concept platform, only exhibiting high fashion costume jewellery and accessories. It was a very exclusive podium for brands to showcase their stuff to a select group of
audience.
