The court has suspended payment of the bills.
Purshottam Kalra, who runs an anti-corruption NGO was slapped with bills of Rs 1,29,107 and Rs 91,471 by BSES, which said his meters were not showing the date properly. The court stayed the bills and issued notice to BSES for February 23, 2010. Kalra said he found irregularities in the BSES’ working through an application filed under the RTI Act.
