KSRTC to run extra buses for Ugadi

The Karnataka State Road Transportation Corporation will run about 350 extra buses between April 10 and 13 to meet the Ugadi festival rush.

The KSRTC will operate extra buses to all major destinations such as Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shimoga, Hassan, Mangalore, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Gulbarga, Bellary, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar and Tirupati.

Special premier buses will operate from the Shanthinagar BMTC bus stand to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

As a festival bonus, passengers will be given concessions on group and return ticket bookings. 

Connecting bus facility will be provided from JP Nagar, Jayanagar 4th Block and 9th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross, Vijayanagar, Ganganagar, Banashankari, Yeshwantpur and Kengeri Satellite Town to Shimoga, Davangere,

Tirupati, Mangalore, Kundapur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kukke Subramanya, Dharmasthala and other places.

Advance reservations

Special buses for passengers who have advance reservations will be operated from the Mysore Road bus station towards North-West (Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, etc) and North-East (Gulbarga, Bellary, Raichur, Hospet, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, etc).

Buses with no advance reservation will be operated from Kempegowda bus station to destinations in North-East and North-West of Karnataka.

In addition, special buses will be operated from all taluk bus stands under the KSRTC jurisdiction based on the traffic needs.

SMS service

Mobile booking of tickets can be done by sending an SMS to 56767. Passengers can also book tickets online at www.ksrtc.in.
