<p> The Bagalur police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old woman. Kupendra, a resident of Bagalur, had allegedly killed Balamma.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Police said Balamma was married to Selvam from Tamil Nadu a few years ago and had an affair with Kupendra for the last one-and-half-years. Kupendra was upset with Balamma in the recent past as he suspected her of having affairs with a few other men, the police added.<br /><br />She was alone at her house on April 6, after her husband went to his native place Krishnagiri.<br /><br />She was found dead with severe burns the next day. Her father Rajendra lodged a complaint and stated he did not suspect Selvam. <br /><br />During interrogation Kupendra confessed to the crime, the police added.<br /><br />He quarrelled with Balamma over her alleged affairs and in a fit of rage, poured kerosene over her, set her ablaze and fled the scene, the police said. <br /><br /></p>
