Road construction works launched

A stretch from Bharat Polytechnic College to Kolar Bypass at a cost of Rs 3.45 crore will be asphalted.

Earlier, the tender process for this road had been completed two years ago. But due to some technical problems the work was delayed. However, now retender process has been finalised and Union government has released money for the project, the legislator said.
Potholes will be filled up in the first stage of the work and later on asphaltation will be takenup, he added.

Works on the stretch towards Kolar, KGF, Andhra Bangalore and Tamil Nadu will be undertaken.

Town Municipal Council president Shamsuddin Babu, member K Chandra Reddy, Public Works Department Assistant Executive Engineer Krishnamurthy, leader Parthasaraty, Nanjappa, Markandeya Gowda, Arunachalam Mani, Gram Panchayat president Guttihalli Manjunath, Mestri Adinarayanappa, Srinivasanaidu, Taluk Panchayat member  Kondanahalli Narayanaswamy, Contractor Krishnareddy and others were present.
