The travellers  bunglow, which is hundred years, situated on  Saligrama - Kota National Highway is crying for attention. The building is in a deplorable condition.

The tourist bunglow comes under the purview of Udupi Taluk Panchayat and used to draw many tourists in the past. Unfortunately, no tourists visit the bunglow now.

A daily rent of Rs 50 is collected from the tourist for utilising the services. The bunglow used to fetch an income upto Rs 500 in a day in the past.

The bunglow has not seen maintenance for the last several years. The building has not been painted for a long time.

If at all tourists come to stay, there are no arrangements of drinking water and food. Moreover, doors of the travellers bunglow have been damaged completely. The drinking water is drawn from a well on the premises of the travellers bunglow. Weeds have grown inside the well, indicating lack of maintenance.

An old man was given the responsibility of the tourist bunglow.

But since no tourists are interested to stay here, nobody is seen around the bunglow.
