While addressing media persons here on Monday, he exuded confidence that he would prove majority on the floor of the house within a week. A one-day session of the state assembly has been convened on October 28 for this purpose, he added.
The Congress, which emerged as the largest party in the 90-member assembly by winning 40 seats, has the support of seven Independents and a BSP MLA.
