Lohan coming to India for documentary shoot

The ‘Mean Girls’ star has teamed up with the British Broadcasting Corporation and is set to travel to India next month to front a show highlighting the plight of deprived children in the country, reported Contactmusic.
The 23-year-old was inspired to support more good causes following a meeting with British businessman Richard Branson in Dubai. “I’m going to India soon, actually, before Thanksgiving. And I’m doing a documentary for the BBC. I like to support charities. I think it’s important to have a kind of voice when you can have one, and make a difference,” said Lohan.
The actress, who derailed her Hollywood career with her partying lifestyle, is hoping to turn a new leaf by focusing on charity work in the future.
