Sriramulu blames single phase polls for poor show

BSR Congress president B Sriramulu on Saturday said single phase polls, like the May 5 Assembly election,  had adverse effect on electoral prospects of regional parties.

Speaking to reporters, Sriramulu said new regional parties like BSR Congress found it difficult to manage campaign strategies across the State during single phase polls.

Replying to a query, he said there was no question of merging his party or going for a tie-up with any other party.
