Karnad meets chief minister

 Jnanapith awardee Girish Karnad met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the latter’s residence on Wednesday and held discussion for nearly half-an-hour.

Karnad had attended the swearing-in ceremony of Siddaramaiah on Monday. The author said he only suggested the chief minister to give good governance. He said except Ramakrishna Hegde, he had not met any other chief minister. Many writers had extended support to the Congress to ensure political stability in the State, he pointed out.
