The City Crime Branch sleuths took a person into custody in Coimbatore in connection with the recent bomb blast in Malleswaram.
The suspect was arrested from a house in Coimbatore after a surprise raid.
Six hundred grams of explosives was seized from the suspect, City Police Commissioner Raghavendra H Auradkar said. However, he refused to divulge details of the suspect.
He added that City police have arrested 10 people so far, in connection with the blast. “We suspect the involvement of a few others and are in regular contact with the Tamil Nadu police,” he said.
