Speaking after laying foundation stone for construction of four new rooms at a cost of Rs 18 lakh in Government High School, Avalagurki of the taluk recently, he said that it forms the ardent duty of the government as well as the society to ensure an environment conducive for learning. He suggested that toilets should also be constructed for the school and proper water arrangement should be made to maintain the toilets. A sum of Rs 2 lakh has been released from MLA’s fund for this purpose.
TP member K R Reddy, who spoke on the occasion, said that a sum of Rs 23,000 has been released from TP for drinking water arrangement in the school.
CMC president M Prakash, JD(S) taluk unit president K T Narayanaswamy were present.
