<p>Unhappy with the composition of the core committee for regulating fee charges by unaided schools, the Bangalore Parents’ Association will file a contempt petition in the High Court on Wednesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>“The court had directed the formation of a core committee which was supposed to be followed by a one-day seminar with the participation of all stakeholders. The stakeholders included teachers, parents and board representatives. <br /><br />Though the core committee was formed, it had representatives only from the Education Board, leaving the rest of the stakeholders out,” Ashok Adiga, the President of the Association said at a press meet here on Tuesday.<br /><br /> The Court, in February, directed the government to deliberate with stakeholders on the issue of unaided schools charging exorbitant fees. The order was passed in a petition filed by Sai Prakash against the Sarvodaya National Public School (ICSE). <br /><br />Adiga said the Association would also look into increasing number of unauthorised schools under ICSE and CBSE Boards.<br /></p>
