One dead, ten injured as bus collides with lorry

One person died and more than ten passengers injured when their bus collided with a lorry near here today, police said.

The Udhagamandalam (Ooty)-bound bus with 40 passengers on board, was coming from Chennai when the mishap occurred at 5.30 am.

The injured were admitted to the Government hospital here.

In another accident, three persons died when their motorcycle collided with a van last night.

The van driver has been arrested, police said.
