JOIN USIn a goof-up by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), a person in Rajasthan has received an admission card for an examination he had never even applied for, and to top it off, the ID card bears the photo of US President Barack Obama!
Lallu Ram Meena of Rambas village in Dausa was in for a huge surprise a few days ago when he received an admission ticket for an examination for the post of junior engineer that carried a photo of Barack Obama.
Ironically, Lalu Ram has neither the qualification to sit for the exam, and nor had he applied for the post.
Lalu Ram said he was really perplexed because he had never applied for the post. “I am an Arts graduate. Only those who have completed Engineering are eligible to apply for the post. I don’t know how this goof-up took place,” he said.
“I have received by post an admission card from the SSC duly signed by the competent authority a couple of days ago, with accurate details about my name and address, but the photo on the card was of US President Barack Obama.”
“I don’t know from where they got my name and address,” said the surprised
recipient.
