Formed seven years ago, Dhrushya, an amateur theatre troupe is organising a two-day theatre festival on March 5 and March 6, 5.30 pm at Ravindra Kalakshetra.
‘Paying Guest’ will be staged on March 5 and Swapnavasavadutta on March 6. There will also be a felicitation programme.
The aim of Dhrushya is to create awareness about the culture of Karnataka through these plays.
The troupe has successfully performed various plays like Gajipurada Hajama, Ploutos, Devara Hesaralli, Punyakoti, Kambliseve, Samanathe, Marugadulu, Varshageete, Naanu Mattu Hennu etc. For details, call 9845753944.
