Last Updated 19 June 2013, 20:16 IST

An Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) facility at Peenya here has received a letter that threatened the unit of terror on its premises.

Additional Commissioner (Law & Order) Kamal Pant, speaking to Deccan Herald, confirmed that such a letter was found on the campus of the institute at Peenya.
Apart from the Isro facility, three to four establishments in the city had also received copies of the same letter threatening bloodshed on their premises.

Some of the establishments received the letter on Tuesday and some on Wednesday. However, Pant refused to divulge details.
Unconfirmed sources say Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, National Aeronautics Ltd, a prestigious five star hotel and a temple on Old Airport Road have received similar letters.  Sources say that the letter consisted of five pages. One page was in English. Four pages were in Urdu.

The letter is signed by one Omar Bhaksh and it threatens that “we had infiltrated into the organisation and that there will be bloodshed soon,” the sources said. A security guard at the Isro facility found the letter on the campus.  The letter comes days after the city police were sent into a frenzy after a terror alert was sounded by a citizen over a Nano car with suspicious movements.
