Addressing a press meet, Lions Club Mangalore-Milagres President R Mahabala Shetty said several facilities were handed over to the beneficiaries on Saturday. This include gas cylinder to Shakthinagara anganwadi centre, furniture including steel almirah to Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Ajjinadka, uniforms to the students of Kittel Memorial Composite PU College, one quintal rice to the anatha ashrama run by Mangala Seva Samithi, financial assistance to a patient suffering from kidney failure. Lions Club has adopted a Government Composite High School in Hoige Bazar and has provided uniforms.
