'Conversion': Bajarang Dal men 'enquire' man

Speaking to Deccan Herald, Bajrang Dal Convenor Sharan Pumpwell said that they acted upon a complaint by a certain Shiva, who was allegedly forced by a certain Vincent and Ashalatha, to get converted into Christianity.

When the group arrived at Vincent’s home, they reportedly found literature meant for conversion. One of the members in the group even claimed that they assaulted a certain Manjunath who has already been converted. However, he denied the same with the police.

Sharan Pumpwell told Deccan Herald that Vincent and his group had already converted five persons and were planning to convert another 20.

When contacted, ASP Amit Singh who visited the spot, said that the police will enquire into the allegations. Further investigations are on.
