Forget your thinking hats. Just indulge yourselves as Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja & Co take you on a jolly good ride. Sure enough Balupu (Arrogance) will not disappoint. Brimming with punchy dialogues and laced with rib-tickling below-the-belt comedy, Balupu is one big over two-and-a-half hours of ensemble entertainment.

With Ravi Teja as its pull power mascot, Balupu kicks off to a crackling start as our hero saves the damsel in distress.

It’s non-stop, all-round action from then on. Balupu’s excuse of a story revolves around how Kancharapelam Shankar (also Ravi, debt recovery man)vows to teach Shruthi and her uncle Crazy Mohan a lesson when their pranks lead to his bosom buddy falling for it and attempting suicide.

But then Shankar and Shruthi (who is betrothed to Rohit) fall for each other. Which of the two men gets the girl forms the rest of the saga.  With his trademark oneliners and performance Ravi Teja towers over all, working wonderful chemistry with Shruthi Haasan who sizzles as the glam girl. Others help the lead pair rock the show.

Balupu, despite its flaws and predictable fare, sees director Gopichand Malineni turning it out into a timepass outing at the theatres.
